Does not save ingredients you need to enter them fresh with the price every time
I love the simplicity of this app, and how it calculates cost per servings. It took a bit to get the sales tax amount to stay as well as the unit measure. However, It would be very helpful to have access to the inventory part. Then one could add items there as well as update costs per inventory item.
Some bad moments
Do not use this app!!! Lost all data when app was updated. Years of work lost--no way to recover.
I lost all my work, many and many hours of work. I hope that the developer resolve this problem and can recover our datas. If that is not possible I dont recommend this app.
Have to calculate cost of each product manually to enter it. Cant tell it sugar comes in a 20 kg bag, in hopes it will figure out cost per kg or gram as required for example. Once I calculates out the cost manually the add ingredient button didnt seem to work as it lost all the other ingredients I calculated myself.
Then it kept defaulting to a unit I wasnt using with each entry, which required scrolling through the menu each time.

App works well. Interface needs work. In landscape mode (iPad), menu items become unavailable due to scrolling issues. Need a separate editing screen just for ingredients.
This app lacks vital measurements for computing cost of foods. Very disappointed and very expensive app to be so incomplete and useless. Should also include a converter if they are only going to offer 3 kinds of measurements. Terrible app!
The product yield 10% is not enough try up to 99% (what about tomato water at 48% yield?. You need a each cost( 1 egg ) keep it simple. I most of the time will use this app for quick cost why do I need to creat a recipe every time for instance I want to cost a single fish on the fly for a quick cost this would be a very nice addition. Think fast answers thats the point not useless data entrys
